Bring on the Happy

Hello

Have been without a computer for a couple of weeks. What I thought would be a much needed service ended up being a completely new computer. Not exactly in the budget but what can you do? I've spent the last week finding & transferring files and organising everything as it was.
Did get some card making done though, although not finished pieces except for this card which I made for my daughter's birthday this week.

I used JustRite Sweet Posies & coloured with Copics. When I die cut with the circle die I left the stem area uncut and carefully finished with scissors. Butterfly is from the same set and was also coloured with Copics, then fussy cut. Wink of Stella was added to the flower centres and also to parts of the butterfly although you can only really see in this close up.

For the background stripes I used my MISTI and Mama Elephants Basic Borders set. Using WPlus9 Fairy Dust ink I stamped all 3 borders at once with 2 inkings for good coverage. Got to love how easy the MISTI makes this type of stamping.
Mounted the circle with foam tape and adhered the butterfly at the body only with Multi Matte medium & finished with a Penny Black sentiment and a few sequins.
I thought I would enter this in the Sparkle & Shine Challenge

Thanks for visiting.
