Venturing back into using watercolours now that the weather has cooled a little & we don't need the fans at full speed. I don't know about everyone else but the weather here is a little bizarre at the moment. We are into the last 2 weeks of autumn & our nights have only just dropped below 20C and our days are still around 29C. It's like one long summer!
Anyway, I decided to use my Zigs on this card with a newly arrived WPlus9 stamp from a voucher I won.
I used WPlus9 Beautiful Bouquets Dahlia stamp with white embossing powder on Arches Cold Press watercolour paper. The SSS sentiment was gold embossed & I finished with some very fine gold splatters all over the card including flowers & leaves. I used Kuretake Gansai Light Gold for the splatters & although it is hard to see in the photo it looks like fine gold dust all over the front. So pretty!
I am entering this into the following challenges -

Truly so beautiful Rose!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful, Rose ... the gold is fabulous with those gorgeous saturated colours! We too are having bizarre weather ... should be 25-30C and it's 16C ... brrrr ... we could swap! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. Love your design.
ReplyDeleteThanks Teresa.
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING! I still don't have the Zigs figured out, so seeing you create this beauty gives me incentive to carry on trying! The flowers, colours, design...simply amazing!
