WPlus9 watercolour

Happy New Year!
I'm a little late I know but better late than never.
Dropping by with another card using WPlus 9 Watercolored Anemones. I have been playing with this set a fair bit in my effort to be a little more productive. My aim is to try & make several different projects when I pull out  a stamp set rather than use just once & then put away. Since this is one of my favourite sets it hasn't been a hardship coming up with ideas! Although this is a little similar to my previous card, this time I added some foliage from WPlus9 Botanical bunch as well.

Inked up flowers & leaves with distress inks, lightly spritzed & stamped onto watercolour paper.   The sentiment is a newly acquired stamp used for the first time. I really love quote stamps & I loved the font used in this one as well. I inked the sentiment in Ranger Archival Jet Black & stamped using my MISTI which gives a nice even, dark impression after several stampings which is otherwise tricky on the uneven cold press watercolour paper. Added some Wink of Stella to the flower centres & a few SSS pale pink sequins.
