Started the year off committed to trying to make Christmas cards each month but failed miserably in keeping it going. So I thought I'd best get back into it again since there is only about 5 months to go!
I don't do a lot of cute stamping and I'm not big on colouring with pens either but I really love this set from MFT so when I had the opportunity to get it on special I took the plunge.
I stamped Santa & gifts first with Memento Tuxedo Black. I masked both & then stamped tree. I coloured all images with Copics & added Stickles Glitter glue to tree for ornaments & star. I then added some white flock to the trim on Santa's hat. A few sequins for sparkle & it's done!
I am entering this into One Layer Christmas Card Challenge # 13 - optional twist - gift.
Thanks for visiting.
Supplies -
Stamps - MFT Jingle All the Way
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Copics, Stickles Glitter Glue, sequins

Rose, your Santa, gifts and tree image is sheer delight! And your colouring...so impressive! I'm debating whether or not to invest in copics (I have Chameleon pens) and you're certainly providing incentive for doing so (although I need a lottery win, too...). Fantastic, fun and festive card!

Thank you! I also have Chameleon pens but find them best on small colouring projects. Copics are far better for larger areas & I'm still needing plenty of practice!
DeleteSo fun, Rose ... what a brilliant scene ... your colouring and shading is amazing! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI had to go back and reread this line three times, Rose; "I'm not big on coloring ...!" Oh, my goodness, that is too bad because you certainly have a talent for it and color like an expert! This card is sensationally colored and oh so fun!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I think your coloring is fabulous! What a sweet card, Rose! So happy you could join us at the OLCCC!
