Vellum flowers

Hello

When I saw that "text" was the word prompt for Inkspirational Challenge # 110

the first thing that popped into my head was using the text stamp you see on my card below.

A very obvious choice I know but this has been a much loved stamp in my stash for over 10 years. So loved in fact that the image has totally worn off the wood block lol. I chose to softly sponge a masked rectangle with Spun Sugar distress ink before stamping the text in SSS Smoke ink. This could have worked as well as a one layer card but I chose to cut (leaving a small white border) & mount the stamped piece with foam tape for more dimension. Either way would work. I cut 2 Memory Box Geneva Vine in vellum & coloured the backs of just the flowers with Worn Lipstick Distress ink before adhering lightly in just a few places allowing the flowers to lift a little. The sentiment is from SSS Your Birthday.
I know the raised panel looks slightly crooked in the photo but in actual fact it is perfectly square & aligned. One of those tricks of photography I guess I have yet to master.

I thought I would also enter this into CAS Mix Up June Challenge

I have used Stamping, Die-cuts & sponging.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.
