Thinking of You

Hello

Todays card was one of those 'lets start & see where we end up' type projects! You know, when you have something in mind but end up with something completely different lol!

I started by applying distress inks softly to some Specialty Stamping Paper. Next I placed a Prima stencil over the top and lightly spritzed and then dabbed paper towel through the stencil to remove colour. You can just see in the photo the lighter small flowers in the background. Then I used a music background stamp that I've had forever, stamped with Versamark and sprinkled Wow White Pearl embossing powder. This powder is a lot softer than normal white and has subtle pearly sheen.

The bird was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Peerless Watercolours then fussy cut. The flowers are a 3 step stamp from the gorgeous new Altenew Vintage Flowers set. This set is amazing and I can see myself using it so much. Such pretty flower combinations. The flowers were stamped using Archival inks and some Star Dust Stickles was applied to the centres. More fussy cutting but thankfully the branch was a die-cut.
I am entering this into the following challenges -
