Hello there

Hello

I was so excited when an order from Simon Says Stamp arrived with this Single Roses die set in it. I usually have to wait about 3 weeks most of the time for anything from the US but occasionally I might be lucky & items will arrive in 2 weeks but not often.

I loved this die as soon as I saw it & could see lots of options with scrap pieces I have laying around. I die-cut from a reject watercolour piece that I wasn't happy with and layered over a blue inked background. Finished with a Hero Arts sentiment & foam mounted on to Audrey Blue card base.
I am entering this into the following challenges -

Muse Challenge # 153 -   where this weeks Muse Tracey McNeely made this lovely floral card.

I was inspired by the bright colours Tracy used & just happened to have a watercolour piece with all the colours in it.

The Card Concept # 49 - Floral Radiance

I'm going with Clean & Graphic style I think, not sure.

Thanks for visiting.

  5. Rose, I'm cheering the 'early' arrival of your Simon Says order; I, too, often wait 3 or more weeks for parcels from the US to arrive in Canada. You've created a most charming card with the swirly roses; a lovely take on Tracey's inspiration and a fabulous way to inject 'new life' into a piece of water-coloured paper. So incredibly pretty! Wishing you a wonderful Thursday...
