My card today is for Simon Says Stamp 7th Birthday Wednesday Challenge
I couldn't resist using the SSS Single Roses die again so I cut the flowers & leaves out of some background paper that I made using a technique with distress reinkers & Inka Gold. I first saw this technique in a video by Loll Thompson that you can see here. It was hard to capture the pearly sheen with the orange flowers as I had used Inka Gold Old Gold which sort of blended with the spiced marmalade distress ink. The pink flowers were made with Picked Raspberry distress reinker & Inka Gold Old Silver which is actually a beautiful champagne colour.
The flowers & leaves were adhered to a background piece stamped with SSS Leaves Background in WPlus9 Fairy Dust ink. Finished with SSS Wishing die cut & matching sentiment.
